About DotDot
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. DotDot- is a whimsical children’s book author and illustrator living in a small town in Nebraska. As a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, she weaves themes of resilience and adventure into her writing. Dedicated to giving back, DotDot- has packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child since 2012, sponsors 22 children through Compassion International, dedicated to spreading love and kindness beyond the pages of her books. and donates to Toys for Tots. As a mother of three, she finds endless inspiration in her family, who are often the muses behind her stories. With each tale, DotDot- hopes to ignite a love for reading and the wonders of imagination in children everywhere.

"Take a Look"
Take a Look by DotDot is a lovely bedtime storybook with some beautiful illustrations also by the author. It’s a story of nature, teaching kids about the wonderful world around us. The book is written in rhyme, and you can almost hear it being read by a soft, gentle voice. It teaches kids about the animals and the trees, about everything that surrounds them in the natural world but it also teaches them colors. Each animal is accompanied by interesting facts about how they sleep, feed, and survive, and it’s incredibly informative. It’s a well-written book, and it’s clear that it was written with a lot of love.

Operation Christmas Child Boxes (Samaritan's Purse)
Operation Christmas Child is a charitable initiative that collects and distributes shoeboxes filled with gifts and essentials to children in need around the world during the holiday season. Through this program, individuals and families can pack shoeboxes and provide joy, hope, and the message of love to children facing difficult circumstances.
Since I began packing Operation Christmas Child boxes in 2012, I have given 276 boxes. All of which have made an impact in Mexico!

Compassion International
Compassion International sponsorship is a wonderful initiative that links individuals and families with children living in poverty, offering vital financial support for their basic needs, education, and healthcare. Through this program, sponsors receive heartfelt updates and letters from their sponsored child, creating a meaningful connection that empowers them to break the cycle of poverty.
Currently, I have the privilege of sponsoring 9 beautiful children and correspond with 13 others! It is my hope to support them and their families in achieving their dreams, providing them with the resources and encouragement they need to build a brighter future.
